K-EnterTech Hub Opens Call for Korean Startups Heading to Florida’s Early-Stage Venture Conference
Seed and Series A Korean companies invited to two-day Orlando event in June; direct access to Southeast U.S. venture capital
SEOUL — K-EnterTech Hub, led by chief executive Jung Han, is recruiting Korean startups to participate in the Florida Early Stage Venture Conference 2026, a two-day gathering of seed and Series A investors set for June 2-3 in Orlando.
The move opens a direct channel between Korean founders and one of the fastest-growing pools of early-stage capital in the United States.
The Southeast has drawn an outsized share of new venture dollars over the past three years, as state tax advantages, lower operating costs and steady population inflows have pulled investors out of their traditional clusters on the East and West Coasts — and the Florida Venture Forum’s annual conference has become the principal venue where that capital converges in person.
This year’s program runs across two days at the UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management in Orlando, a campus sitting at the center of Florida’s tourism, media and simulation industries. The first day opens with a workshop hosted by accounting and advisory firm EisnerAmper, followed by a welcome reception. The second day is built around two blocks of company pitches — late morning and early afternoon — bracketed by keynote remarks, a luncheon talk, networking breaks and a closing reception with award announcements.
The Florida Venture Forum describes the event as the “premier venue to see early stage companies and interact with experienced, active investors.” Student founders selected through the conference’s collegiate track have raised more than $4 million in follow-on capital to date, according to organizers. The format — short pitches in front of a dense room of regional general partners and angel investors — is tuned for seed and pre-A rounds, the stage at which most outbound Korean startups are now seeking U.S. validation rather than full institutional rounds.
What Participating Companies Receive
- Curated 1:1 meetings with Florida-based venture and angel investors
- Introductions to regional accelerators and corporate partners
- Priority access to early-stage trend sessions and conference receptions
- Connection to K-EnterTech Hub’s on-the-ground U.S. network and post-event follow-up
K-EnterTech Hub is reviewing support arrangements for essential costs, including conference registration and booth setup. Coverage will vary by company stage, sector and the depth of the planned U.S. expansion, and will be communicated individually to selected participants.
Who Should Apply
- Korean startups at the Seed to Series A stage
- Open to all sectors — software, content, platforms, health tech, media tech and beyond
- Companies preparing to enter the U.S. Southeast (Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas)
- English-language pitch materials ready, or able to be prepared before the event
How to Apply
Interested companies should submit (1) company name, (2) primary contact (title and phone), and (3) a brief description of the product or service with a website or pitch-deck link to existen75@kentertechhub.com.
